Detailed Itinerary

  • DAY 1: – Arrive in Athens

    Welcome to Athens, the cradle of western civilization. Athens, the Greek capital is one of the oldest cities of the world with glorious history. Arrive Athens International Airport and you will be transferred to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore the city on your own or opt for Athens by Night tour.

  • DAY 2: – Athens – City Tour

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day city tour. Explore the remains of the glorious past by visiting the famous archaeological sites and museums. The tour starts with a brief stop at the Panathenian Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896. Continue and pass by the Presidential residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit its museum and the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally, the most famous the Parthenon. Then, visit the new Acropolis museum and admire the wonders of the classical era. Return to your hotel in the afternoon. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city on your own.

  • DAY 3: – Travel from Athens to Mykonos

    After breakfast at the hotel, transfers will be arranged to Piraeus port to board your ferry to Mykonos Island. Mykonos, also known as the island of winds is the trendiest island of the Cyclades group of island. It is mostly known for its sophisticated nightlife and sandy beaches. The iconic windmills, sandy beaches with deck chairs and parasols, picturesque harbors where fishing boats are moored next to the luxury yachts, cosmopolitan bars, restaurants and whitewashed houses with balconies hanging over the water are the distinctive features which define the landscape of Mykonos. The spectacular sunset complements the view of the seascape that appears like a painting. Upon arrival at Mykonos you will be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the charming village with its narrow maze like alleys.

  • DAY 4: – Mykonos – Day at Leisure

    After breakfast at the hotel, the entire day is free for you to explore the island or take an optional walking tour of Mykonos to discover the lifestyle, the rich history of the island and the unique landscape. Or a half day Delos Island tour to discover the ruins of ancient temples. Delos is the mythological birthplace of Apollo and Artemis which made a major sacred site for the ancient Greeks. Or take a Wine and culture tour which will give you the chance to learn the old traditions of Mykonos and taste the various flavorful wines. Or enjoy a unique experience of the Jeep Safari to discover the hidden corners of Mykonos.

  • DAY 5: – Travel from Mykonos to Santorini – Sunset Dinner Cruise

    After breakfast at the hotel, transfers will be arranged to the Mykonos port for your ferry to Santorini Island. It is famous for its dramatic views of cubic white-washed homes and blue-domed churches that perched on the cliffs by the blue sea which is probably the most photographed scenery in Greece. The unique caldera view, the spectacular sunset, beaches withcrystal clear waters and different colour sand or pebbles, white washed buildings, tavernas, hotels and cafes clinging on the edge of the high cliffs make this place one of the must see destinations of the world. Upon arrival at Santorini you will be transferred to the hotel. In the evening, experience the spectacular Santorini sunset on board a traditional boat. Cruise along the Caldera and enjoy the view of volcanic cliff tops with the traditional buffet dinner, unlimited wine and music.

  • DAY 6: – Santorini – Volcano and Hot Spring Tour by Cruise

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for half day cruise tour in a traditional wooden boat at the caldera to visit its volcano, hot springs and Thirassia Island. This tour offers you the unique chance to visit the active volcano of Santorini. Walk on the dried lava up to the rim of the volcano’s crater and see the sulphurous smoke emitting while standing on the hot, rugged rock. Next, the cruise takes you to the hot springs where you can swim in the warm volcanic waters. Later visit the traditional sister island of Santorini, Thirassia Island where you can swim or go up to the village or simply relax and have something to eat. Return to your hotel in the afternoon and relax for the rest of the day.
