Detailed Itinerary

  • DAY 1: – Arrive in Hanoi

    Welcome to Hanoi, capital of Vietnam which is famous for numerous rivers, lakes, and mountains alongside and in the surroundings. Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi; transfers will be arranged to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring the city. Take a stroll on the tree-lined boulevards and see the colonial buildings.

  • DAY 2: – Hanoi – City Tour

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day city tour of Hanoi. Begin the tour by visiting the Temple of Literature dedicated to Confucius, which is a rare example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture. Then visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a wooden structure built in 1049 that sits on stilts over a lake. Next visit is Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday; also October and November). Take a walk from the mausoleum through the park to see the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh’s Residence. Then take a rickshaw ride to explore Hanoi on your way. Spend the rest of the day at at leisure exploring the old quarter with an array of crafts and fabrics locally made which can be found in the cobbled alleyways. Most of the nightlife is around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter.

  • DAY 3: – Hop on board the Indochina Sails Junk Cruise from Halong Bay

    After breakfast at the hotel, transfers will be arranged to Halong bay, one of New 7 wonders of Nature featuring thousands of limestone karsts forming a spectacular vista. Upon arrival, board Indochina Sails traditional Junk cruise for an incredible journey through Halong bay. Lunch will be served on board. Cruise along Halong Bay with comfort and leisure; see the surrounding tropical scenery. The cruise stops at Luon Cave, a natural cave which can be access by small boat or kayak.
    You can enjoy a refreshing swim in the turquoise water of Gulf of Tonkin. Enjoy the spectacular sunset through the cliffs. Enjoy dinner on board.

  • DAY 4: – Travel from Halong Bay to Hanoi

    After breakfast, enjoy the sail along the stunning limestone creation and discover some of the beautiful islands of the bay. Later disembark the cruise and you will be transferred to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi if time permits, you can visit the But Thap Pagoda. Check-in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Explore the Hoan Kiem Lake area on your own and visit the Temple of Jade Mountain located on an islet of the lake, which is connected by a bridge. In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show in the Thang Long Water Puppet Theater located near by the lake.

  • DAY 5: – Travel to Ho Chi Minh

    After breakfast at the hotel, transfers will be arranged to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, a vibrant metropolis and Vietnam’s most exciting city. From towering skyscrapers to ancient temples and pagodas, the city blends old traditions with modernity. Ho Chi Minh City is also known as Saigon. Arrive at Ho Chi Minh City and check-in to the hotel. Relax and explore the city on your own. Take a stroll on the narrow streets passing the ancient pagodas, teeming markets and wooden shops selling silk, spices and baskets. You can go around, see the local life and enjoy great street food.

  • DAY 6: – Ho Chi Minh City Tour

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day city tour of the bustling Ho Chi Minh city. The tour begins with a visit to the Reunification Palace which was the site of the end of the Vietnam War in 1975. Next stop is at Jade Emperor Pagoda, one of the most colourful pagodas in Saigon. Then visit the 19th century Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Pas by the classic European style landmarks such as Hotel de Ville and Opera House. The tour ends at Binh Tay Market in Chinatown where you can buy Vietnam silks and velvet. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

  • DAY 7: – Mekong Delta Tour with Boat Trip

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for full day Mekong Delta tour. The tour begins with a drive to Cai Be located in the heart of Mekong Delta. Board one of the local boats to explore Cai Be Floating Market of fruits and vegetables. Continue the sail through small gorges and canals, stopping at the Mekong River Islands to visit orchards and local cottage industries. Enjoy watching how the local people make rice pancakes and puffed rice candies with the chance to sample the local delicacies. Disembark the boat at Cai Be and return to Ho Chi Minh City. Spend the rest of the exploring the city and shopping.

  • DAY 8: – Depart from Ho Chi Minh

    After breakfast at the hotel, check out as your arrangements conclude today with a departure transfer.
