Detailed Itinerary

  • DAY 1: – Arrive in Siem Reap

    Welcome to Siem Reap, the gateway to world famous Ankor Wat Temple complex. Its close proximity to the Angkor Wat Temple, Siem Reap has transformed itself into a major tourist hub. It is Cambodia’s fastest growing city offering a wide range of hotels and restaurants but still retains an atmosphere of a laid-back town with old shop houses, open air cafes, art galleries and a sleepy river. Upon arrival at the Siem Reap International airport, transfers will be arranged to take you to the hotel.

    The rest of the day is at leisure.

  • DAY 2: – Siem Reap – Tour of Angkor Wat Temple Complex

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day tour of Angkor Wat Temple Complex. The Angkor Temple Complex is UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important archaeological sites of Southeast Asia. It contains magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire from 9th to 14th century including famous Temple of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. Visit Angkor Wat temple, one of the largest and best preserved of all the temples. Explore the Angkor Thom, a 3 km x 3 km fortified city and the last capital of Khmer Empire. Angkor Thom is famous for 3D Buddha heads, visit the Bayon Temple set at the centre which is famous for its gigantic, beautiful and serene stone faces that look out from all directions. Next visit is Ta Prohm, a beautiful temple bound by massive roots of huge trees and it became more famous after the movie Tomb Raider filmed here. Enjoy the sunset in this serene temple complex.

  • DAY 3: – Siem Reap – Optional Quad Bike or Boat Trip Tour

    After breakfast at the hotel, spend your day at leisure or choose from optional tours. Opt for a half day countryside tour by Quad Bike to explore the villages and their lifestyle. You will get the opportunity to visit an orphanage and Cambodian monastery. Alternatively, opt for an excursion to Kampong Kleang, a floating village in Tonle Sap Lake and experience a boat trip to explore the floating fishing village and their unique lifestyle.

  • DAY 4: – Travel from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh

    After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia. Located at the confluence of three rivers, the city features a wide variety of historical and cultural attractions along with elegant French colonial buildings and a bustling riverfront lined with cafes and restaurants. Upon arrival at Phnom Penh airport, transfers will be arranged to take you to the hotel.

    The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city on your own. Take a stroll on the riverfront lined with trendy pubs, bistros and restaurants.

  • DAY 5: – Phnom Penh – City Tour

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day city tour of Phnom Penh. The tour begins with a visit to the Royal Palace which is still the royal abode of the King of Cambodia. Then visit the Silver Pagoda, also known as the Pagoda of the Emerald Buddha which is located within the grounds of the Royal Palace near the banks of the Mekong River. Continue the tour to the National Museum which contains a comprehensive collection of Khmer Art. The tour ends at either the Central Market or the Russian Market.
    In the evening you can opt for a one hour sunset cruise over the Mekong River to enjoy the spectacular view of the city.

  • DAY 6: – Travel from Phnom Penh to Kep

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Kep, a seaside resort town. En route, you will be visiting Tonle Bati Lake and the Ta Prohm temple located close to the lake. The next stop is at Angkor Borei archaeological site and Phnom Da hill famous for its caves and laterite tower on top of the hill. Then continue the drive to Kep. Kep offers great seafood, magnificent views of the mountains and the beaches. Rabbit Island is just a short boat ride away. Arrive Kep and check-in to the hotel.

  • DAY 7: – Kep – Boat Tour of Rabbit Island

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day tour of Rabbit Island by boat. Rabbit Island which is also known as Koh Tonsay is located about half an hour by boat with unspoiled beaches and a small community of fishermen families. Relax at the beach and enjoy the seaside views. The sea here is shallow with long slope making it ideal for walking and swimming. Return to Kep and the spend rest of your day at leisure. In the evening, take a stroll at the beach side and try out some fresh sea food at the waterfront restaurants.

  • DAY 8: – Travel from Kep to Sihanoukville

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Sihanoukville, Cambodia’s premier beach destination which is also known as Kampong Som. En-route, you will be visiting Phnom Sar Sear, a natural and cultural site featuring mountain caves. The next visit is at Phnom Chhnork limestone cave. Continue the drive to Sihanoukville. Arrive at Sihanoukville and check-in to the hotel. The white sand beaches, the warm waters and the laid back atmosphere provide a great place to relax. The town offers a variety of restaurants and a pretty good night life with bars in downtown area and beach bars in Serendipity beach.

  • DAY 9: – Sihanoukville – Explore the city at leisure

    After breakfast at the hotel, the day is spent at your leisure. Some of the popular beaches in Sihanoukville are Ocheteaul Beach, Serendipity Beach, Victory Beach, Otres Beach, Independence Beach, Sokha Beach and Hawaii Beach. From most of the beaches, you can take trips to the islands and rent boats for snorkeling and fishing. Many of the beaches are filled with thatch roof restaurants and bars, some are rocky beaches and some are sandy beaches. Visit any of the beaches and relax or take a boat trip to the surrounding islands for snorkeling.

    Overnight in Sihanoukville

  • DAY 10: – Travel from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh

    After breakfast at the hotel, transfers will be arranged to take you to Phnom Pehn. Arrive at Phnom Pehn and check-in to the hotel. Spend the rest of your day is at leisure. Shop at the Russian Market, Central Market, Riverfront area or malls. You can buy Cambodian silks, handicrafts and souvenirs like silverwork, statues and carvings.

  • DAY 11: – Depart from Phnom Penh

    After breakfast at the hotel, check out from the hotel.
