Detailed Itinerary

  • DAY 1: Vienna (Vienna) – Arrive in Vienna

    Welcome to Vienna, the capital of Austria. On arrival you will be met by a local representative at the arrival terminal and transferred to the hotel for your check in. Rest of the day is at leisure.

  • DAY 2: Vienna (Vienna) – City Tour

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for half a day Vienna Historical City tour with Schonbrunn Palace visit. The tour gives you a thorough overview of Vienna's most significant historical sites and focuses on the famous Schonbrunn Palace. Also visit the Museum of Applied Arts, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Natural History. The Hofburg is another highlight, the famous residence of Empress Elizabeth, affectionately known as Sisi to the Austrians. Plus see a lot of other fine buildings, including the Parliament, City Hall, the Burgtheater, the University and the Votive Church, Maria Theresa; the tour ends by the Sudtiroler Platz. Rest of the day is at leisure.

  • DAY 3: Vienna (Vienna) – Vienna - Bratislava - Vienna

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the full day tour of Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia. The city is the home for plenty of cultural and historic monuments. Some of the main attractions you visit during the tour in Bratislava are Presidential Palace a residence of president of Slovakia, National Theatre an oldest professional theatre, unique Art Nouveau church, Castle & Napoleon’s Hill, St. Michael's Gate and St. Martin's Cathedral. After the tour return to Vienna and relax for the rest of the evening.

  • DAY 4: Budapest (Budapest) – Vienna - Budapest

    After breakfast at the hotel, check-out of the hotel as you proceed to travel to Budapest, the capital city of Hungary. On arrival at Budapest enjoy a half day Budapest city tour. The grand city sightseeing tour makes the perfect introduction for the first time visitor. Your travel will take you across the Danube on the Margaret Bridge; show you the House of Parliament, the Royal Castle, Fisherman's Bastion and much more. Then cross the Danube on the Margaret Bridge (Margaret Island) and drive to the Royal Castle on the Buda side. Here you will visit the Fishermen's Bastion (Promenade) and the Matthias Church (Interior visit). Also climb the Gellert Hill for fantastic photo opportunities of the city before crossing Elizabeth Bridge. Drive by the City Park towards Heroes' square (Promenade) and pass by the Opera and St. Stephen's Basilica to reach the hotel.

  • DAY 5: Budapest (Budapest) – Budapest - Danube Bend Tour

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day excursion through the scenic Danube Bend Tour into Hungary’s history. Visit Esztergom, a city near Budapest which was the capital of Hungry till mid -13th Century. Esztergom Basilica is the largest church in Hungary dedicated to the Saint Mary of the Assumption and Saint Adalbert. Then continue the journey to visit Visegrad, a small castle town which is famous for the remains of former summer royal palace and the medieval citadel. After lunch (not included) proceed to Szentendre for a guided walking tour. Szentendre is a riverside town, where you will visit magnificent Caprice Hungarian Jewellary Museum. After the tour return back to Budapest on the Danube River by boat and the tour concludes at the pier in Budapest. Later in the evening take an optional Danube river cruise or Folklore show

  • DAY 6: Kraków (Lesser Poland Voivodeship) – Krakow City Tour

    After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and proceed to Krakow city. For over a thousand years, Krakow has been the center of science, culture and art in Poland. On arrival check into the hotel and then proceed for the Krakow city sightseeing Tour. Visit the Wawel Castle and Cathedral, the Rynek Glowny (Main Market) Square and St Mary’s Church. It’s a fine introduction to this historic city! Begin the tour with a short walk along the streets of the former Jewish district of Kazimierz. Next, Wawel Hill, crowned by Wawel Castle, Wawel Cathedral and the seat of royal power up until the 17th century. A walk up to Grodzka Street leads you to the heart of Krakow, the Rynek Glowny or the Main Market Square. The large Gothic Cloth Hall is the perfect place to shop for local souvenirs. The last stop is the twin-spired St Mary’s Church with its famous medieval altar by Wit Stwosz and where, every hour the brave trumpeter of Krakow still calls out his warning.

  • DAY 7: Kraków (Lesser Poland Voivodeship) – Zakopane (Approximate travel time is 1 Hours 45 minutes by road) – City Tour, Krakow

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Zakopane, Poland for a full day tour. During the journey you will see the natural beauty and panoramic views of the Tatra Mountains. Zakopane is one of Poland’s prime tourist destinations. The town and its stunning scenic surroundings are located in the Tatrzanski National Park, at the heart of the magnificent Tatra Mountains, surrounding valleys and peaks. It is also well known for its unique wooden architecture, style of decoration and tasty regional dishes. The tour starts with a ride by the funicular railway to Gubalowka Mountain (1123 m above the sea level) from which you can admire panorama of the Tatras, later visit the market at the foot of Gubalowka, then walk around the town looking at the charming wooden architecture.

  • DAY 8: Kraków (Lesser Poland Voivodeship) – Salt Mine Tour

    After breakfast at the hotel enjoy a trip to the Wieliczka Salt Mine from Krakow. Your guided tour takes you from 210 to 440 feet (64 to 135 meters) underground, passing through galleries and chambers on three levels. The guided walk consists of 20 monumental chambers joined. Entering the Wieliczka Salt Mine, descend a 380-step staircase to Level 1; this walk is not strenuous and can be undertaken in ordinary footwear. The last stop on your visit to the mine is at the souvenir shop and snack bar. From there the lift carries you back to the surface.

  • DAY 9: Prague (Hlavní město Praha) – Travel to Prague (5 hours by road)

    After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and proceed to Prague, the capital city of Czech Republic. En route visit a Wine yard or Beer factory, located in the south. On arrival at Prague check in at the hotel and the evening is free to explore the city on your own.

  • DAY 10: Prague (Hlavní město Praha) – City Tour

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the half a day Prague Grand city sightseeing tour which provides a superb introduction to this beautiful city. This sightseeing excursion is part by coach, part on foot (as many of the most interesting areas of Prague are pedestrianized). Enjoy a 90 minute guided walk through the Prague Castle complex to discover the major sights within. Admire the grandeur of Saint Vitus Cathedral, the architecture of the Old Royal Palace, and enjoy stunning views over the whole of Prague. Head towards the river from Prague Castle for a stroll across Charles Bridge and for more wonderful views of the city. Then continue the Prague tour with a walk through the Jewish Quarter, Wenceslas Square at its heart, Lesser Town (Mala Strana) the historic Astronomical Clock and the Old Town Square. Rest of the day is at leisure.

  • DAY 11: Prague (Hlavní město Praha) – Prague - Karlov Vary - Prague

    After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour to Karlovy Vary, the foremost spa town in the Czech Republic. From Prague drive for about two hours (approx) to reach Karlovy Vary, which is located near the German border. The spa town was built during the middle Ages after the discovery of hot mineral springs. Famous past visitors include the Russian tsar Peter the Great and poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Both praised the healing effects of the mineral springs. 12 hot springs are currently in use. The best known spring is Vridlo, which belches its curative water to a height of 17m. A walking tour of Karlovy Vary includes a taste of these waters. After lunch, you visit the Moser glass factory. The Czech Republic is well-known for its beautiful crystal and Moser glass is amongst the finest. Visit the workshops to observe the glassmaking process and maybe even try out some glass-blowing!

  • DAY 12: Prague (Hlavní město Praha) – Depart

    After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Prague International airport for your flight back home or you can extend your holiday with us.

13, Schönbrunner Schloß-Straße

1559 kaufte Kaiser Maximilian II. einen bürgerlichen Herrensitz, außerhalb der Stadt in einem beliebten kaiserlichen Jagdrevier gelegen, um ihn zum Jagdschloß ausbauen zu lassen. Nach der Zerstörung des Jagdschlosses durch die Türken (1683) entwarf Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach im Auftrag Kaiser Leopolds I. einen grandiosen Neubau auf jenem Hügel, den heute die Gloriette einnimmt. Dieser Plan wurde als zu kostspielig ad acta gelegt und bei Fischer von Erlach eine vereinfachte Version bestellt, die im wesentlichen 1713 vollendet war. Sein heutiges Aussehen erhielt das Schloß allerdings durch einen größeren Umbau (Nikolaus Pacassi, 1744-1749) unter Kaiserin Maria Theresia, die hier mit ihrem Gatten, Kaiser Franz I. Stephan von Lothringen, und ihren 16 Kindern lebte.
	Während seiner Feldzüge gegen Österreich bezog Napoleon, Kaiser der Franzosen, 1805 und 1809 Quartier in Schönbrunn, als seine Truppen Wien besetzten. 1832 verstarb hier der Sohn aus seiner Ehe mit Erzherzogin Marie Luise von Österreich, der Herzog von Reichstadt.
	Schönbrunn fungierte zumeist als Sommerresidenz des Kaiserhauses; Kaiser Franz Joseph (reg. 1848-1916), 1830 hier geboren und persönlich spartanisch wie die Soldaten seiner Armee, verbrachte seine letzten Lebensjahre zur Gänze im Schloß.
