ITINERARY: New Delhi || Agra || Jaipur
Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
On arrival in Delhi you will be met and escorted by Tamarind Tour's staff to your hotel who will assist you in check inn formalities. After quick wash n change visit Red Fort – the 17th century imposing fortress, the Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), India’s largest mosque where more than 20,000 people can kneel in prayer and Raj Ghat -Mahatma Gandhi’s Memorial. In the afternoon after lunch visit New Delhi. You will drive past President’s Palace and India Gate (42m high), built to commemorate the 70,000 Indian soldiers who died in the 1st world war. Later visit Humayun’s Tomb, and the Qutub Minar, the highest sands stone minaret in the world (73 meters). Later return back to the Hotel. Overnight in Delhi. * Red Fort is closed on Mondays *.

Day 2 : Delhi – Agra (205 kms /5 hrs)
This morning drive to Agra. On the way you get to experience the authentic routine village life. Little before Agra we stop at Sikandra to see the mausoleum of great Mughal King Akbar (1556-1605). On arrival in Agra check in at the hotel. Later in the evening visit Taj Mahal (1631-1653), a poem in white marble, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal. Also enjoy Tonga ride. Overnight in Agra. * Taj mahal remains closed on Friday *.

Day 3 : Agra – Jaipur (232 Kms / 5 hrs)
Today you will visit Agra Fort (Fort and Palace) situated on the West Bank of the river Jamuna. Later drive to Jaipur, enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. It is a beautiful and deserted medieval city built by Akbar the Great in the 16th century to serve as the capital of his vast empire. The Mughals later abandoned this city due to lack of water. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 4 : Jaipur
In the morning after breakfast, half-day excursion trip takes you to Amber Fort with Elephant ride. En route, make a photo stop at the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). In the afternoon visit the “Pink City” of Jaipur. You will visit City Palace, and Royal Observatory ( Janter Manter-1728-34). Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 5 : Jaipur – Delhi (258 Kms / 6 hrs)
Today drive drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi transfer straight to the airport to connect flight back home.

Day 6 : Depart Jaipur
After breakfast transfer to airport/Railway station for your onward journey.
